Leystall 4-Bolt Crank

I note from posts on this forum that the FIA is considerably more stringent than US sanctioning bodies, down to and including the model of crankshaft. I am considering going to a 6-bolt and have a perfect Leystall 4-bolt fully counterweighted crank. Would like to know if there would be any interest in this crank in Europe.

I'd like to buy it! We've got a car/engine that it would be a "replacement original part" for.

I believe it is a standard pin crank. It is at my engine builder's as he was trying to find a buyer for it, but I will find out further specs. He doesn't like cross drilled cranks so I ended up spending ?2k for a new crank. Wowsers that was a shock. By the way, I bought a flywheel from Geoff Richardson and a clutch from Tilton and sent them out to be balanced - they were perfect. Very much a credit to Geoff Richardson. Such a beautiful piece of machining I had it on a table in the living room until my wife insisted that it was not her taste in sculpture.

Reminds me of the time, when living at home with my parents, that I refurbed my cylinder head whilst they were away on holiday. When finished, I had it sat on their coffee table in the lounge so that I could admire it. I was not popular when they came home a day early and found it there! :oops: Apparently it didn't matter that it was spotless and on blocks to keep the valves safe.
