Engines For Elan's ?

please can you tell what is the primary engine fitted to elan s1,s2,s3 and s4 models............is it the lotus/ford twincam or were other types fitted........regards neil.

Elans only had the Lotus/Ford engine with power from 105bhp to 126bhp (excluding race cars) depending on model and which market it was intended for.
