Lotus Elan wheel colour.

Hi has anyone got a picture of an elan with gold minilites on, tried the net already to no avail. I was contemplating having my spare set painted the same colour gold as the bumpers.

Here's an S3 Coupe with gold spokes and bumpers, which suits the red nicely. I've seen a white car with gold bumpers and wheels which also looked good.

This is the only one i could find, not a sprint and not even the right gold but hey.... Elans always look good with 14" wheels fitted (even if they are a pain to fit).

Like the silver rims with the gold centres on the red Elan, somehow lifts the appearance........

My Sprint whit panasport wheels, they look like minilites (very difficult to see the different).

Well I've decided on the gold, same colour as the bumpers with a polished lip. I'm taking them in the morning to get refurbed, thanks for all the pics guys.

Surely one for the dodgy stripes thread -don't think I've ever seen any sloping downwards to the front before.
