They also have a kit for the GT6- the hats look taller on that kit (but they do have a disclaimer that the parts may not match the photo). I emailed them; they didn't know if the kit would fit the elan and suggested I try the forums...
the calipers have dust seals; it looks like it might be a nice setup.

Hi
You could also try this site mio-engineering.dk

They have a brake kit with Wilwood calipers that fit the Elan. You can have it with the +2 disk or a ventilated disk depending on your need.
I bought a set with the +2 size disk two years ago and I?m very pleased with the fit, quality and performance. The kit comes with all you need for the installment and is easy to fit.

Well that depends I guess.
I for one didn?t like the power assisted spongy feel of mine, so first I dropped the power assistance and went for the 5/8? master cylinder and 1144 Mintex brake pads, but that resulted in quite a lot of pedal pressure.
With these Wilwood calipers I get a nice firm pedal and good stopping power without excessive pedal pressure, and I have a weight saving of 1.8 kg pr. wheel.

Jas, Jon- Did you remove the servo and associated hardware with the install?

Yes I removed the servo and used the 0.7? master cylinder.
The 0.7? master cylinder is the one used with the servo assisted brakes, the unassisted system uses the 5/8? master cylinder.

Definitely no servo needed IMO on the Elan. +2 may be different tho. Always good to lose a little weight this time of year too!!

jono- looking to lose a bit of unsprung weight; current calipers need to be rebuilt; 26R calipers are expensive
