Very reluctant sale of my 1967 Lotus Elan S3 S/E DHC due to imminent loss of garage space

Red with black interior. Chassis 36/6521. 92k miles.

12 month MOT and tax

History, MOTs and huge number of receipts going back to 1977


Galvanised Lotus replacement chassis
Great engine: receipt for rebuild to Sprint spec
TTR suspension
Sue Miller CV driveshafts
Stainless exhaust
Roll cage and door bars

Full service 1k miles ago.
New pads all round, new tyres, rebuilt steering rack and suspension, brakes and clutch

Drives excellently. More photos to follow when the sun comes out!

was the car originally a fixed head with that chassis number?

Hi,

Yes, the car was converted professionally by Kelveden in the 80s using all the correct parts. I have the bill for the work. All type 36s are or were originally FHC: the DHC designation is type 45 for S3 and onwards.
