Ignition timing

For some reason unknown, Lotus seems to have left out the instructions about how to insert the distributor from the later version of the Workshop Manual, but it was in the earlier manual

Ignition Timing Page from the Earlier Lotus Elan Service Manual.

Print it out and add it to your manual.

Then follow the instructions to re insert your distributor.
