My racer

Last summer I purchased a body and chassis only. I have the scca logbook from the early 80s to about 1990. The body has a front clip which is removable from just in front of the firewall and looks similar to the one on your car. I know the car was raced on the west coast, and probably built by Dave Bean. I haven't done any research on the car. Was that clip something you built or purchased as a light weight piece?

I should not answer for Rick but I know that most everything on this racer was made by his little team.

Russ is correct. The front, rear, and door clips were all designed and built by our crew. The only original parts were the floor pan and firewall (as required by the various club regs for the class, GT-2).
As to the brakes, as memory serves the fronts were Willwood Dual 1.75" and the rear Willwood single 1.5". Dual master cylinders were a Tilton design and were cockpit adjustable.
Tranny was a Saenz 5 speed with shifter customized by us to fit the car.
With driver at race end the car weighted in at 1510 Lbs. (1500 lbs was the class limit)
