Hello,
It looks like i saw a foam pad inside the door jam at one time. It looks like it may stopped the door from opening to far any pictures?

Mark RD Enterprise in the US have them forsale on there site. The are not foam but pretty hard rubber.

This pair came out of 26/4020 they are 14 x 2 1/4 by about an inch and are open cell foam rubber type of material. pretty soft stuff and were glued vertically to the forward inside surface of the door pocket.
